Visitors from across the UK will travel to this ‘must-attend’ event to be inspired, gather information and talk to genuine experts who are on hand to answer any homebuilding questions and offer free advice. If you are considering a new build, renovating a tired property or simply looking to reduce your energy bills, the show promises talks, tours and advice tailored to you.

The Show has a timetable packed full of informative and impartial talks, to help inspire your homebuilding plans. Alongside 200+ exhibitors within the NSBRC’s ‘Trade Village’, the ‘Professional Services Hub’ is the place to go for independent, expert advice from a range of specialists. You’ll find Architects and Designers, as well as experts on Planning, Project Management, Renewable Technologies, Landscaping and many more.

Show highlights will include discussions around how we can we mitigate against rising energy bills, and other increasing costs, in our homes, as well as focused sessions on finding plots, reclaiming VAT and the numerous options to fund your project.

We asked Harvey Fremlin, the NSBRC’s managing director, about the show:

‘’We know, from speaking to visitors to the NSBRC, that people want a higher quality home than they can purchase from the average developer. The National Self Build & Renovation Centre has provided independent, impartial advice for over 16 years, and we are seeing a real uplift in interest in self build, with visitor numbers and online enquiries up on last year, and believe, for those interested in living in a better, sustainable home, now is the moment’’

Our 2023 visitor survey proved that self builders are a resilient group, with many people opting to budget for additional energy saving measures such as higher spec insulation and micro renewables to generate energy (such as Solar PV) and future-proof against spiralling energy costs. Our October Show provides the perfect opportunity to learn about these technologies and understand what is the right option for you’’.

Show highlights include:

  • Over 200 Exhibitors
  • Guided educational tours of the NSBRC’s fantastic life-size exhibits
  • Free 1:1 Expert Advice

The National Self Build & Renovation Show is easy to get to with the NSBRC located on J16 of the M4 and parking is plentiful and FREE!
