Bespoke products need to first have a ‘pattern’ made and then be ‘cast’ ‘to order’ so you should speak to Rainclear as early as possible when you know, or think, you are going to be looking for something bespoke.
Hargreaves manufacture decorative rainwater hoppers, unique gutter profiles, embellishments such as crests and dates. They are often get asked to make radius gutters to fit curved rooflines and can replicate any existing radius gutter, and have done so many times, ensuring they will fit accurately and function efficiently.
These are all requirements that can only be met by a working foundry with its own pattern making shop. They make bespoke products to suit any building, ancient or modern, but are most in demand for conservation, heritage and restoration projects.
There is no need to resort to the various forms of plastic substitute on offer. Anything that has been cast in the past, for instance during the Victorian era, they can cast. If it could be made back then, it can be made by them now.

Rainclear worked with the dedicated design team at Hargreaves and our client’s architect to create this beautiful gothic style hopper which is now part of Hargreaves ‘Made to Order’ range and appears on page 46 of the Hargreaves Foundry trade price list April 2020 now that they have made a pattern for this hopper.
‘Made to Order’ products are available to select from the brochure but need to be cast or fabricated ‘to order’. They are available in all the same paint options as the ex-stock ranges, but as they are not ‘on the shelf’ they will take longer to deliver.
