We’ve added to the choice of Contemporary Aluminium rainwater systems ranges that we stock over two warehouses in Swindon, and that we list online.
There are now three additional new gutter profiles and one additional new round downpipe choice available to buy securely online by card or by PayPal.
The 3 new gutter profiles:
1. AX SnapFix Half Round
This premium extruded aluminium half round profile gutter system from Alumasc, a UK manufacturer of sustainable building products, systems and solutions with over 60 years . It is now available on our website and from stocks in our two warehouses in Swindon in Matt Black for next day delivery and in one of 26 standard RAL colours in 10 working days delivered directly from Alumasc.

Lightweight and 100% recyclable they offer a cost-effective, durable and highly corrosion resistant alternative to uPVC, without a lengthy installation time, and with an impressive life span of up to 40 years.
They are polyester powder coated using a BBA approved, in -factory application process and are the perfect choice for both traditional and modern buildings, and for flush and projecting eaves applications.
The fascia brackets are fixed to the fascia board or rafters. Then the gutters are ‘snap fixed’ into the fascia brackets – no nuts, bolts or washers needed – and sealant is added to the unions, outlets and stop ends. This system even requires less sealant than previous versions from the AX range.

2. AX Moulded SnapFix
The ‘Moulded’ profile is a more traditional K style profile but once again the new SnapFix fitting method does away with the need for nuts, bolts and washers, and now uses less silicone too.

A robust and fully engineered box section gutter range manufactured by Alumasc and designed for traditional wet jointing on site. The GX Joggle profile gutter is supported by top straps with simple screw fixing bracketry, which is generally concealed after fixing.
Available from stock in Matt Black for next day delivery and in one of 26 standard RAL colours in 10 working days.

GX Smooth Box
GX Smooth is designed for a sleek appearance with no requirement for sole support brackets and no visible screw fixing.

Round Swaged Mitred Downpipe
This swaged extruded aluminium downpipe system from Alumasc offers an economic metal downpipe system, available in circular pipes in a choice of three sizes:
- 63mm – SW25 in 9005M Matt Black for Next day delivery or 26 standard RAL colours in 15 days
- 75mm – SW30 in 9005M Matt Black for Next day delivery or 26 standard RAL colours in 15 days
- 100mm – SW40 in 26 standard RAL colours in 15 days (not listed on website – call for more info)
It’s a contemporary pipework system suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects. The neck/ pipe end is expanded to create an integral connection (i.e. ‘swaged’ neck)
The mitred bends are considered to work well with the box and moulded gutter profiles while the swept bends are considered to complement with the rounded gutter profiles better.

Choose a system to match your budget
We added more choice to the contemporary aluminium rainwater ranges on the website, because offering customers greater choice means there are more options to suit a wider range of budgets.
These are premium ‘Alumasc’ branded and are often specified. Alternatives which you may find offer a similar product but at a lower price point, should your budget require that, are the SnapIT Half Round, SnapIT Moulded and Joggle box, also on our website. We have added this Joggle Box Gutter to stock in RAL7016 for next day delivery.
The standard ‘swaged round downpipe’, also listed online, offers a swept bend which you may consider works well with a half round or d-flow gutter profile.
