Delivery Charges
As part of our service all of our deliveries above £1,000 for cast iron and cast aluminium systems and £500 for extruded aluminium systems, based on our website prices, will be made free of charge, please refer to discounts page for full details.
Delivery Dates & Times
We will always strive to deliver any stocked item ordered via our website within 48 hours of order, however if there is ever an issue with availability of your order we will contact you immediately to advise you and determine the best course of action to minimize your inconvenience.
If you have ordered online we will contact you via email before delivery to confirm delivery date and advise you of consignment details.
We regret that timed deliveries cannot be given. Deliveries will be between 8.00am & 5.30pm on the date given.
Delivery Tickets
All materials must be signed for when they arrive on site, we would politely request that you sign and clearly print your name, therefore in the unlikely event of a delivery discrepancy we will have a point of contact on site.
Delivery Errors
We would politely ask that you check that you have received the correct goods and that all items are in good condition while the delivery person is still present, in the unlikely event that damage has occurred to your goods please mark this clearly on the delivery persons paperwork and contact our offices as soon as possible on 0844 414 22 66. Failure to mark the delivery persons paperwork correctly may on occasion result in claims for damages not being honored.
Delivery Vehicle
All palletized goods will normally be sent on large delivery vehicles, the driver will off load by means of a pump truck and tail lift fitted to the delivery vehicle, the driver will then deliver by means of the pump truck as close as possible to the property whilst remaining on a hard standing surface.
Handling
Some of our cast iron materials are heavy (up to 40kg) and can also be awkward to handle, we would ask that you are mindful of this fact and use two people to carry lengths of cast iron gutter and downpipe where necessary.
Hand Off Loading
Drivers will not hand off load goods which are palletised.
Site Access
Due to the size of the delivery vehicles we would politely request that clear access is given to the property on the day of delivery, if you think that access may be an issue, please advise our sales office when placing your order. In the event of a failed delivery due to access restrictions we have not been made aware of at the time of order this may result in additional delivery charges being applied.
